How we fill your order

Is the item in stock and how long will it take to get it?

Each Item is individually hand crafted. Please don’t be alarmed! Many customers call and the first question they ask is, "Is the item in stock and how long will it take to get it?" As soon as we get your order my wife and I cut out your order, sew it up, package it, and if it is received early enough, ship it that day. Orders received in the afternoon and evening are made and shipped the next working day. Orders received Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday are shipped Monday. Orders usually take four days to arrive; we have had orders shipped to the east coast in three days.

I have a huge head/foot; can you make my order to fit me?

Yes!!! Go to the sizing page and follow the measuring instructions and send us an e-mail with the necessary information.

The color combinations are too numerous to manage. If there is a particular color combination you want that is not available, contact us by email, or call 208-524-6180, describe the color combination you want and we will let you know if it is available and how to order it.

Due to color variances in monitors, cameras and scanners, KLU Mountain Outerwear can't guarantee exact matches for colors requested but we will come as close as possible.
Shipping

United States of America (including Alaska & Hawaii. APO’s, FPO’s, etc.)

Standard shipping, Priority Mail is $7.00, flat rate. That’s right, $7 order as many hats as you like.

Shipping within the U.S. is made through the US Postal Service Priority Mail and usually arrive within four working days.

A tracking number will be given with each order, where available. The tracking number indicates when it leaves the Idaho Falls Post Office and when it arrives at the destination Post Office for delivery.

All orders are shipped from Idaho Falls, Idaho.

International Orders, Europe only

International orders are at your own risk. We cannot guarantee delivery (at any reasonable price) for international orders. No refunds will be honored for items not received.

We have had success sending orders to France and the United Kingdom via U.S. Air Mail.

Allow three weeks for delivery, it can take as long as five weeks for international orders.

Rush Orders

U. S. Postal Service Express Mail is the cheapest delivery available but is still EXPENSIVE, at least $25 and may not arrive on time due to weather, heavy mail traffic or unforeseen circumstances.

All cancellations must be submitted by email or call us at (208) 524-6180 within 24 hours.

Returns/Exchanges

We want you to be satisfied, so if you ever have a question on anything you bought from us, just email or call us at (208) 524-6180.

If what you ordered doesn't fit or isn't what you expected it to be, you may send the package back to us with a copy of your invoice. Please communicate with us your return/exchange information. Items must be returned new and unused for a full refund or exchange.

All return shipping costs are the purchaser's responsibility. KLU Mountain Outerwear will pay for ground shipping on outbound exchanges.

Returns are only accepted if merchandise is unused and is returned to KLU Mountain Outerwear, postmarked within 20 days of original shipping date. This is very flexible if ordering for gifts i.e. Christmas, birthdays etc.

No refunds are given on used merchandise.

All refunds will be by check made to the billers name and address

No refunds will be given until KLU Mountain Outerwear receives the item(s) in unused condition.

Damaged Packages

Contact us immediately for resolution to your satisfaction. In the unlikely event you receive a damaged package or merchandise that has been damaged in transit, please save all packaging materials, the box, and the damaged item(s) and contact us immediately.

In the unlikely event that a product purchased from us has a manufacturing defect, please email or call us at (208) 524-6180.

All products are made by KLU Mountain Outerwear and are guaranteed except ZIPPERS.

This guarantees products against defects in materials and workmanship.

It does not cover the normal breakdown of materials that can be expected over time or misuse of the product.
